Many of you will remember Clementine (Clemmie) as the girl with the big grin. She turned thirteen earlier this year and is still like a puppy. She is still so active and full of life, with no arthritis, and it's only the grey on her dear face and the fading sparkle in her eyes that's giving away her age. Here she is sleeping in the little doughnut bed she likes so much. It's so small that she has to curl up to lie in it, but she prefers it over her bigger one. Go figure. But at her age she's earned the privilege of choosing what she wants! Remember her famous grin? Clemmie started doing this when she was a puppy, whenever she thought she was in trouble. She knew it made me laugh and forget whatever it was she was in trouble for. Very smart! She doesn't do it much any more and I miss it.

Hi Bev, lovely to see the gorgeous Clemmie still so well and happy. My Niles is a Labradoodle, (not one of yours), and I have followed your web page for a long time. I am friends with Gillian, Jane and Wynn and through them found your FB page. The new puppies are just beautiful and now this link about this beautiful old girl...she is such a character and so obviously well loved and looked after...best wishes to you both (and all your doods) from Ruth and Niles 9/6/2014 03:58:51 am
Thanks Ruth and Niles, and thanks for popping in to say hello. Yes, although Clemmie is still full of fun and giggles, I have to realise that she is old even though she's not really showing it much yet. Every moment together is precious so I try not to think ahead to the day I will be without her. I'd love to see some pictures of Niles! Cheers, Bev

Hi Bev, not sure how to post pictures up to here. Is there somewhere else I can post some? Or am I missing the instructions, cheers Ruth 9/6/2014 04:19:12 pm
Hi Ruth, I've had a look, and I can't see a way for you to post pictures either. Maybe you could post them on FB? I'd love to see Niles

Hi Bev, I do remember meeting Clemmie, on the occasions I have visited RM, she is a lovely dog, and like the others you had there, like Stella, and Jag the Rotty, and others, they were always having fun. They seemed to love it when you had visitors, either inside or outside. I have such good happy memories of RM. Give dear old Clemmie a cuddle for me. xx Comments are closed.
