In Australia your puppy comes to you from parents DNA tested health or Clear By Parentage for all hereditary diseases known to occur within the breed at the time they are tested. Puppies are vaccinated, microchipped, regularly wormed, crate trained, vet checked healthy and socialized. They are raised on wholesome fresh foods with a minimum of kibble just so their systems will recognize it as 'food' if their forever owners choose to feed kibble.
Puppies usually leave us between 8 and 9 weeks of age in Australia. If you are not able to pick up in person, then we can arrange door to door delivery by road. The cost of transport varies because it depends on how many puppies the courier is picking up on the run through our area, so it is cheaper for you if you let us arrange it so that the cost of the pick up portion is shared between the owners of puppies leaving us on the same day. Puppy purchase price is $5,000 AU (+ gst tax) For non-breeding Puppies. Contact us if you are interested in a breeding stock puppy. Outside Australia Puppies leave for Hawaii, Hong Kong, and Japan from 12 weeks old, vaccinated, microchipped, regularly wormed, crate trained, vet checked healthy and socialized. Puppies destined for Europe leave us at 16 weeks old Price for non breeding puppies for outside Australia is $5,000 USD. Contact us via our contact page if you are interested in a Rutlands breeding stock puppy. Payment Schedule for non breeding puppies
NOTICE FOR OUR VALUED CLIENTS IN AMERICA
We regret to advise that USA has recently changed its rules. From 1st July 2024 America has placed an embargo on the importation of puppies. The minimum age for a puppy to enter the USA is 6 months old. So unfortunately we will not be able to help you with a Rutlands puppy.
HAWAII is exempt, so we can still send our puppies to beautiful Hawaii. SIZES
Please remember that predicting size in a still developing breed is not the same as it is with a long established pure breed and is not an exact science and there are bound to be some variations.
A Medium which is closer to Miniature size than it is to Standard, is called a Small Medium A Medium which is closer to Standard size than it is to Miniature, is called a Large Medium. Miniature:
Over 33 cm No Taller than 42 cm - 16 1/2 inches Medium: Over 42 cm No Taller than 51 cm - 20.7 inches Standard: Over 51 cm and No Taller than 61 cm - 24 inches If you're not sure what size you want, run a tape or ruler from the floor up your own leg to where you'd like your dog's back to come to when mature. NOT its head! (The head moves up and down but the back level stays the same).
We carefully select your puppy as being your best match based on the information you give us, Where possible, we'll try for your preferences in color/gender. But we will never offer you the right colored puppy who we know from close observation will have the wrong personality to fit in with your family dynamics. For the same reason, individually named photos are not taken until your puppy has been allocated to you. It's too tempting to fall in love with the photo of an appealing looking puppy whose personality might be unsuitable for you! You do NOT have to take any puppy we offer you. You can always choose a different one if available, or you can wait for the next litter if you prefer.
