Rutland Manor Breeding & Research Centre Open Days
The Way It Used To Be.

Beverley Rutland-Manners a Rutlands Cobberdogs Australia
A ride around the property in the Toro was always a great favourite with the kids
For years Rutlands  held Open Days twice annually and attracted visitors from across Australia and the world.   With a 'no closed doors' policy,  thousands of guests have seen the Rutlands operations first hand and interacted intimately with our dogs.  I didn't know it at the time, but it was to be such a blessing.  When all the horrific lies appeared on the internet about me and Rutland Manor, fueled by the three American 'friends' who were setting me up to make the theft of my breeding dogs in Texas look like a 'rescue', far too many had seen 1st hand what really went on at Rutlands.
It all had to end in 2010  when it became too dangerous due to animal activist terrorism, but I still look fondly back on the fun those Open Days were for one and all!  Beverley
Visitors came from near and far, so to protect the parvo - free status of the property, before signing in, each person agreed to shoes, hands and clothing being misted with parvicide before handling the dogs.  Such caring lovely people, I don't remember anyone ever objecting.

David with his Guide Dog Jarad We gave him a job
Interstate and overseas visitors, friend and stranger alike, were always welcome to stay in my home, share my table and use my property as home base  while they toured on holiday.  It would be far too dangerous these days but my heart is still full of such love for the way it used to be!  On the next page are photos of some of my guests.  Perhaps you may even see yourself there!
