William Penn expressed my views on life so beautifully when he wrote....
"I expect to pass through this life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again......"
And may I take the liberty of sharing a life's observation of my own? " I am not aware of any thing which does not exist merely because I choose to disbelieve in its existence"
One of my favourite poems
My life is but a weaving between my Lord and me. I can not choose the colours He worketh steadily. Oft times He weaveth sorrow and I in foolish pride, forget He sees the upper - and I the under side.
Not 'till the loom is silent and the shuttles cease to fly, shall God unroll the canvas and explain the reasons why the dark threads are as needful in the skillful Weaver's hand, as the threads of gold and silver in the pattern He has planned.
He knows, He loves, He cares. Nothing this Truth can dim. He gives His very best to those who leave the choice with Him
