It's really uncanny how alike Seanna and Sennie are. Sennie is smaller than her mother, being by Rutlands Lil Alfred who is a Miniature. But when they're playing together, I sometimes have to look twice to see who is who!
Tahlia and Solly have done a great job with their very first litter, with seven gorgeous little Miniatures. I've finally caught up on some sleep and had time to post pictures of the puppies. Tahlia is a wonderful little mother as I thought she'd be. So attentive to her babies, but so sensible and perfectly trusting too. She happily accepts me picking up her puppies, and handling them, and cleaning their bed, This breed is so wonderful in this way. I remember years ago having friends who bred Dobies. They were great dogs, but I remember several times the mother dogs attacked and bit my friend when she tried to handle the puppies.
There are lots of pictures of Tahlia and Solly's babies on the puppy page. Click Here! It's hard to believe that the year is almost half over already. The last few days the kids have been having a lot of puppy fun and the puppies have been having a ball too. We're all enjoying the balmy autumn weather which is just perfect lately. It's hard to believe that the puppies are leaving for their forever homes in another couple of days so the kids and I are making the most of the time we have left together. Of course there's no show without punch as they say, so Solly, Sennie and Monkey are getting in with as many walks and training with the kids as they can while the great weather lasts until winter settles in.
