Leash Training The Puppies

With a welcome break in the stormy weather it was time to start leash training Special's puppies, and to refresh their collar and leash training.  They have been vet examined twice, have had their vaccinations updated and microchips recorded and will soon be on their way to their forever homes.

They have already visited the busy shopping area, where they sat on a blanket while we enjoyed coffee at an outdoor cafe.  Of course they were the centre of attraction and reveled in the admiration and pats that came their way!  We were very proud of the way they observed the traffic and big trucks roaring past, with no sign of fear.  Good little bubs!  Their early audio and visual socialising has set them up beautifully and all is on schedule.
