The Australian Labradoodle was never intended to be a 'designer dog'. From the beginning, it was purpose bred and developed to be a non-shedding, allergy friendly and exquisitely intuitive Therapy and Assistance Dog as well as being an easily trained, sociable and non-aggressive family companion.
Since the Australian Labradoodle gained a huge international following, it has been left to a very small group of dedicated breeders, to protect its future from the individuals and new breed registries that sprang up and deviated from the founders' vision by introducing their own breeding and upgrading schemes including the addition of cross breeds such as the Cockapoo.
For the past few years there has been a lot of confusion surrounding the name 'Australian Labradoodle' and it has been almost impossible to be confident whether any dog represented as an 'Australian Labradoodle' is really one or is not.

THOSE DAYS ARE NOW OVER.
The genuine, authentic Australian Labradoodle has changed its name to the Australian Cobbadog.
Personally speaking, it has been a long and challenging road and many have tried to destroy me and my life's work over the years, in a variety of different ways.  But my dream has been realised and under its new name, The Australian Cobbadog will thrive in safe hands for the future.

Our puppies have been exported to individuals and private families in these countries since 1998.  We do not send puppies to countries which require them to be quarantined, such as the UK.

We do not provide puppies to dealers, brokers, agents or pet shops and each puppy is assessed  for suitability to individual family requirements.

Our parent dogs are Xrayed for Hip and Elbow, DNA'd and health screened for over fifty inherited diseases.
