Rutlands Australian Cobberdogs
When I applied to MDBA for permission to infuse, my application was rejected.
But then I remembered that I built the Australian Cobberdog breed through hunches complemented by a lifetime of experience in all aspects of dogs. And I just couldn't let go of this hunch either.
Rutlands Jedda fulfilled my faith in her in a mind blowing way with her first litter, 3/4 Cobberdog puppies to pure Australian Cobberdog Rutlands Lil Parti Attire (Tye). Gorgeous babies with lovely Cobberdog natures and temperament, and 6 of the 7 with perfect flowing Fleece coats. She will have one more litter, this time to Lil Prince before she will be retired, while we raise a daughter from her. Jedda will be bred to Rutlands Lil Prince Charming with puppies due Feb/March 2020.
They will be Miniature size, about 15" to the shoulder, 9 - 12 kg solid little dogs with laid back loving natures, and there is provision on our Application Form which asks if you are willing to consider a Rutlands Cobbeagle.
Review: Rutlands Lil Annie Frills' from Jedda's 1st litter
Annie is home, hungry and exploring. She is beautiful Slept all night in crate next to Will’s bed. WIll seems calmer too
Nearly a week since we got Annie. Can’t imagine life without her. You would be so proud of Annie. After just over a week she wakes at 6 and goes outside. She goes to the toilet has a little play with Harry and Charlie and then comes to the door and barks to come In
Hi Beverley it has been 3 weeks since we have had Annie. We love her to bits. She is funny, energetic and loves life. We are feeding her mostly raw and she eats well. She still nips a bit any ideas on how to manage that. Maureen.
UPDATE AT 4 MONTHS OLD
Hi Beverley no more nipping. She has had two lessons at puppy training and is the quietest in the group and learning quickly. Our boy dogs Charlie and Harry love her. She is very well behaved, no accidents in the house for weeks. When we first got her she was 3.1 kgs and is now 7kg (15 lbs) We all love her. If we go to bed later than 10 she takes herself to her crate. She loves her toys but is happiest with a chew bone from Kmart. Thanks so much for the best dog ever.
She is the best behaved of all the dogs we have had from you and that is saying something
Review: 'Rutlands Lil Bonnie' from Jedda's litter
Greg Low We are absolutely in love with our Cobbeagle Bonnie, she has the loveliest nature and everywhere we go people want to know all about her and compliment us on what a well matured, well behaved little puppy she is. We have a 9 year old son who was diagnosed on the spectrum (formally Asphergers) and he just loves her as does she him. She is so confident and plays so well with the other dogs she meets. We couldn’t be happier with our little girl.
