In November 2011 and January 2012 four magnificent Rutland Manor Australian Labradoodle breeding dogs were acquired by dedicated breeders in Holland, Switzerland and Poland. This new development ensures that the authentic Australian Labradoodle breed with its unique temperament traits, improved conformational form-to-function, and enhanced health status, will be nurtured in caring hands for future generations to enjoy.

'Rutlands Grande Duchess' aka 'Daisybelle' a daughter from the last litter of Tegan Park Shania and Rutlands Onyx. Daisybelle arrived in Holland to Barbara Volwerk of Dazzling Australian Labradoodles, to join Barbara's first import for her breeding program, ' Rutlands Redd Baroness' aka 'Golliwog'.
The big red Golliwog will have her first litter during 2012. Contact Dazzling Australian Labradoodles

Dear Beverley,
Little Daisybelle arrived happily here in Holland !!!
She needed only an hour to adjust. She met our other Australian Labradoodle Golliwog and they were instantly friends.
It amazes me how easy she settled down in her new home !!!
Daisybelle is a very special angel, she adjusts so well and she is so sweet, she has stolen my heart the moment I looked into her eyes. She is eating very well, and listens already to her name.
The first night I was prepared to be awake with a crying little pup. I was awake but only because I worried why I didn't hear one sound. She was sleeping like a little baby !!!! The moment I looked into her eyes I was completely in love, she's a real angel !!!
Thank you very much for everything you have done for her.
A puppy that easy is only possible if you prepared them so well.

Angela travelled from Holland to Australia in November 2011 and we spent some enjoyable times together while she inspected all the dogs and expressed her delight with them. We wish Angela and Pako every continued success with their breeding program in Holland. We also wish to thank Pako and Angela for the semen they have imported into Australia for my use, which regains for me a unique bloodline I lost when some of my breeding dogs were hi-jacked in Texas in 2010.

PAKO AND ANGELA'S UPDATE DECEMBER 2011
Dear Beverley,
Although we speak regularly on the phone,I would like to give you an update on Ava.
She is a great little girl who brings us a lot of joy. She feels completely happy in our pack. She knows exactly how to behave to the different members.
She treats our old Annabel ,who is nearly 13 years old, with a lot of respect. She likes to play with the younger dogs and when she is told off by one of the older ones, she stops straight away. What struck me most when I opened her crate after she had been handed over to me on the airport was how relaxed she was after such a long journey.
I know you put a lot of effort in preparing the puppies on the long journey they have to make to get to their families. It certainly pays off, you did an excellent job.
Travelling back on the same plane as Ava without being able to be with her was quite an experience and I can tell you that I was glad when it was over and I could take her in my arms.
I have enjoyed every minute of my stay in Australia and of course meeting you and your beautiful dogs several times and talking to the people who really know you.Ava is everything we could have hoped for, she is a promise for the future and we are looking forward to working together with you
I especially like the picture of Joey and Ava together ,two beautiful dogs, the result of your work.

WTOCHATA PASJA AUSTRALIAN LABRADOODLES POLAND Congratulations to Elzbieta Gajewska ON THE ACQUISITION OF "Rutlands WH Donnan" a son of "Rutlands WH Lil Parasol" and "Tegan Park Irish Knight". Elzbieta's daughter - Edyta - stayed for a month at Rutland Manor in Australia some years ago to study the art of breeding Australian Labradoodles. "Rutlands Caramel Passion" created quite a sensation when she entered Poland from Rutland Manor, as she was the first Australian Labradoodle in Poland. We wish Elzbieta every success in her breeding program. |

DONNAN - Irish meaning of "little brown".
At the moment we picked him up at the airport we knew Beverley couldn't have made a better choice for us! Cuddly, lovely bear and we finally had him in our arms! All the way from the airport he was looking into my eyes as if he was saying "I am yours and you are mine"
We stopped few times for a wee and he was perfectly all right with traffic. As long as he was in a possesion of his bully stick he did not care about anything, and he was so proud carring it in his mouth.
All the dogs loved him from the beginning - they welcomed him very cheerfully as if he was long lost pal.
2 weeks later:
He is learning new things in a very high speed. He heels perfectly, sits when I ask him to (runs away when he sees me with towel to dry his paws;) He fetches objects and carries them in his mouth and he is a lovely lovely Angel.
Not a single wee accident in the house has happened since he arrived. Everybody loves him here. All neighbours want to steal him:)

Thank you for the new lovely friend who has won our hearts already!

FOUR MONTHS UPDATE AND AN INCREDIBLE STORY OF A PUPPY'S INITIATIVE

I must say Donnan did something very impressive today.
We went to the woods and lakes today with our baby Fabian his motorbike and Donnan.
When we got there I took the lead off Donnan. Fabian was throwing sticks for him. He was fetching everything from the lake (even logs bigger and heavier than him). He liked it a lot and did not mind any strange sounds in the environment.

Little DONNAN racing down the cliff to retrieve the baby's helmet...which he was not asked to do!
| Then we went up the hill and it was very slippery ( hill was 15 meters high ) and sheer. When we managed to get up the hill with Donnan Fabian and his motorbike, Fabian's helmet fell down the hill. I did not imagine myself going back there again this slippery route.
Donnan looked at me and he went straight back down the hill, he picked up the helmet and came back, and threw it under my feet;) Looked into my eves and I praised him a lot and gave him some sausage. I was so proud of him! Edyta |
TRACKING PUPPY !
16TH January 2012
Today Donnan was taken for tracking. I want to teach him how to track and I intend him to be oficially listed as a tracking dog (that looks for missing people)
Today he had his first lesson and he was looking for the hidden toy (20 meters away him) he had 4 trials and he found toy 4 times. We did not exercise before so that was totally natural for him.
After 3 hours he was looking like a snowball but he did a great job I must say!

Congratulations to Meret Gerbet of SWISS JURASSIC AUSTRALIAN LABRADOODLES in Switzerland on the acquisition of "Rutlands WH Redd Jett" a daughter of "Rutlands Ava" (by Rutlands Kelby) and "Rutlands Redd Baron."
Meret is a small breeder starting out and is already in love with Jett, whom she has re-named 'Jamal'. This beautiful Black Standard girl settled into their home as if she had always been there. We wish Meret every success with her breeding program in Switzerland |
