3rd May, and
what a night it was last night for Grandma
Beverley! Wide eyed and wondering, Goldie
wouldn't let me out of her sight. When we
finally went to bed Goldie insisted on being in
Grandma's bedroom, the laundry just would not do
for this princess. When she was on the
bed, she wanted on the floor, and when she was
on the floor she wanted on the bed with her
sweet face close to my own.
Finally at 7.30 am she allowed herself to be
settled in the laundry in her cosy bed and bless
Jenny, who was in early for work, as grandma had
decided to have a tummy bug and was feeling
seedy!
By 11.30am
Goldie had effortlessly delivered seven
magnificent babies. All fat and healthy
and...all big Standards. One Chocolate, one Black
and five lovely Creams or Golds (time will tell
when their pigment comes in at around ten to
fourteen days old). Mother and children
doing well, and grandma going back to bed.
But first some pictures of the precious
newborns. Goldie raised her eyebrows at the
camera....grandma, I haven't done my makeup and
primped up for piccies yet! |
