Watch the Pupppies Grow

Photos are taken at birth and then each two weeks up to the Allocation Photos.  Sometimes we have time to pop a few extras in between, so keep an eye open and  enjoy watching the babies grow !

2nd May 2008 and Goldie knows her time is near and is very smoochy, wanting lots of cuddles and  not letting us out of her sight. Three year old Ella is only too happy to oblige.  Ella decided that Goldie would like a brushing and the center photo shows her brushing her with a dustpan broom!  Jenny hastened to offer her a proper 'doggie' brush instead but Ella was quite happy with what she had.  Aren't kids precious.

3rd May, and what a night it was last night for Grandma Beverley!  Wide eyed and wondering, Goldie wouldn't let me out of her sight.  When we finally went to bed Goldie insisted on being in Grandma's bedroom, the laundry just would not do for this princess.  When she was on the bed, she wanted on the floor, and when she was on the floor she wanted on the bed with her sweet face close to my own.    Finally at 7.30 am she allowed herself to be settled in the laundry in her cosy bed and bless Jenny, who was in early for work, as grandma had decided to have a tummy bug and was feeling seedy!

By 11.30am  Goldie had effortlessly delivered seven magnificent babies. All fat and healthy and...all big Standards. One Chocolate, one Black and five lovely Creams or Golds (time will tell when their pigment comes in at around ten to fourteen days old).  Mother and children doing well, and grandma going back to bed.  But first some pictures of the precious newborns. Goldie raised her eyebrows at the camera....grandma, I haven't done my makeup and primped up for piccies yet!

CONGRATULATIONS!  To each family who is welcoming one of these outstanding puppies as their new family member.  They are clones of each other, have been a delight to raise, and have far exceeded our expectations and we can hardly wait to hear back from you how you feel when you meet your new little bundle in person!

Four Weeks Old

The babies ventured outside for the first time today 31st May in beautiful warm sunshine and romped around on the grass with their mama.  What an exciting new world it was for them!  They got deliciously grubby and all tuckered out and were very contented to cuddle up in their nest again for a good long sleep.
